This was written during a very challenging time in my life. Contentwise, I was trying to capture that utter feeling of futility that feels like it wraps around your life as a wet blanket. The change in meter towards the end was intentional, it being a metaphor for how all the days start to run together and how it can feel like you’re somehow cramming more thoughts into the same space. And it comes full circle in that it pretty much ends the way it begins. Reflecting on how it feels.
