This was written during Covid summer 2020.
This was a very difficult chapter for me. I was juggling redundancy along with a reduced physical capacity than I was used to. I was also learning about my neurodivergence and its implications for the first time (stretching both into the future, and so too into all past relationships). Additionally, I was contemplating whether to start medication or not and fearing the impact it would have on what little work I was able to acquire (which was very cognitively intense). All while the world was going mad and the icing on the cake was my perception of the relationships that were orbiting me at the time, all of which felt mostly performative and hollow.
